Another issue with the Midian boards is they're not field programmable as it takes a special programmer to do so. (we looked at Midian but obviously decided they're not what is needed) Ken

Interestingly, the schematic shows RA/RD with a spec of 80mv and 400mv respectively. It also shows an TA and TD pins. Those are Kenwood's nomenclature for RA = De-emphasized audio RD = Raw
