GE MASTER II low Band base
ok i have found out that it is the 36 - 42 MHz split and i am going to try and mod it for the 42 - 50 MHZ split the tx is done it works great and i am going to work on the RX if anybody has done this

First you need to check what freq range the unit is on. There were 3 ranges for the MSR2000; 132-150.8, 150.8-162 and 162-174MHz. First one is easy, just tune according to directions in manual.

If the icom you took out is factory GE and is on 40.76 MHz, then you are trying to take it out of spec. I could confirm the model, what part numbers are visible? Low band Mastr II's had the frequency

The RC-100 Remoter Base interface well if you use it as a freq agile remote u will need a BCD controlled radio for it or u can use it as a link port the NHRC 4 now is neat it has remote base port
