The Q3220E 's are good duplexers. I have used them on many different sites and systems. I have spec sheets if you want to give me your fax number. I don't have a scanner here at work. John, K7JL Jeff Weinberg W8CQ wrote: Hello All,Thanks for the replies to my last request for info on the |
Mobile Radio Technology (MRT) magazine back issue?
Todd Ellis
Anyone have any old Mobile Radio Technology (MRT) magazines sitting in a
back room somewhere? I'm looking specifically for the September 1995 issue, I badly need a copy or fax of a particular article from that issue. If you have it, drop me a quick line; I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! I have found another set that I need to find info on. I have searched the internet but have not come up with much. These are a set of Sinclair ResLock duplexers model Q3220E. They are described as 4 cavities built into one physical "rectangle". Present owner used them on a 440.600 repeater and are supposed to be good to 300 watts. Does anyone have any info on these units? Anyone with experience with these? The price seems right but I need more info before I can think of buying. Thanks again, Jeff Weinberg W8CQ w8cq@... <mailto:w8cq@...> |

Your first step would be to read all available information on duplexor technology. The RSGB book is a good source of info. You should also contact a manufacturer like WACOM Products and request all of their literature. They may be reached by e-mail: wacom@... You should scan back through the Repeater-builder list-serv posting for further info. If you have access to inexpensive materials, building your own is an option. Another option is to use two sites spaced far enough from each other that no cavities are required. They may be linked by wire or qrp radio. Please keep us informed of your progress Good luck and vy 73. Bob - W3TGG |
