Re: Motorola R100 eeproms or lack of them
My R-100 experience wasn't a good one either, a local ham brought me one that blew a fuse while operating in his garage.

Yes, but a $100 eBay GPSDO plugged into a stock Quantar is cheaper and more accurate.

Re: Motorola R100 eeproms or lack of them
To add, the R-100 programming software runs on DOS and does not use the old RIB interface, its a simple to make serial type cable.

Re: Motorola R100 eeproms or lack of them
I had a couple of R-100 repeaters and they appear to have specific designed tx and rx boards and not from any mobile I've seen. The repeater is also programmed by software and not EEPROMS, I have the

Re: Motorola R100 eeproms or lack of them
The R-1801 is a suitcase programmer.
The R-100 is a small Motorola repeater built from 2 modified mobiles.

Re: Testing a WACOM WP-678-R2 with a Nanovna-F
If your checking through loss of the pass and the notch is accidently too close in frequency it will add more insertion loss. Just make sure the notch is set at the correct offset before measuring

Re: Testing a WACOM WP-678-R2 with a Nanovna-F
You're welcome, Don.
One clarification....
The WACOM series of duplexers generally were provided with variable capacitors with enough range to allow the filter to be configured with the notch either

Don't conflate "diplexer" (those solid metal box fixed-filters that let you put a dualband radio with separate VHF/UHF ports to a single dualband antenna or vice-versa) with a "duplexer" (what you're
