Here is a 16" US Navy rifle being moved to the west coast and put in place as a coastal artillery piece.? Also shown are the forward turrets of the USN battleship USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay in 1945 during the Japanese surrender ceremonies at the end of WWII.

This is in the Marin Headlands portion of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, former Fort Cronkhite, adjacent to Fort Barry.? It¡¯s up behind the Marine Mammal Center and I think the trail is foot/bike only.
