Found this book on Amazon Germany recently when I bought a book about French Armored cars of WW 1(fantastic book!!!):

which means translated

It’s all written in French language, but I think most of the pics are self explaining – the rest might be done with a good dictionary.

Photo of a specific Army diesel during WW2

 

I just acquired a builder's plate off an Army ALCO S2, confirmed as an army unit, completed in 1942.
I've never seen a photo of such a loco as it was delivered, all I could find was some in their 1950s or 60s black markings.
Anyone seen such a photo?
K5 cannon 'N' scale

 

I have just? ?found an 'N' scale K5(E) 28 cm. cannon.? It is made by Hobby Train, cat. no. 23603 in winter camo.
What makes me mad is the fact (I am in H0 scale) that the above model does have the generator on the rear...? while the Rivarossi HO one still does NOT? have it!!
Rivarossi made many K5(E) gun in various?camouflaging?and all have been fast sellers... always without the generator structure on the rear.
I know that a resin kit was available? but I have never been able to get it...
