Solar SID 05/15/2025 Easley, South Carolina
Good evening: ? ? ?Solar from today. I am calling the first two captures a SID. However, the margins of signal drop-out are quite distinct, leaning me away from calling it a SID. Did anyone else see it? John

Good morning John...
?
I see nothing like your first frame here but between the events at about 1715:50 and those at about 1727:30 there is a general "darkening". The WWV signal becomes interrupted but 17 &15m ham bands aren't and the international SW signals at 17 Mhz all but disappear.
Don't know what to make of it.....

? ? ?I appreciate all your efforts! The darkening at the appropriate time and the signal drop-out is suggestive. Checking the radio signals was a great idea. Let¡¯s see if anyone else observed anything. I will keep you posted. Thanks again. John On Friday, May 16, 2025, 8:32 AM, bsneed1 via groups.io <bsneed1@...> wrote:
