Jim Sky All Messages By This Member #13650 Hi Carl, I have seen similar things and found they were due to the front end of my SDRPlay being overloaded, probably at a frequency outside the range of the spectrograph.? When I increased the front?end attenuation the "backward" ionosonde image largely disappeared. I have just started using SDRConsole and am still doing some tweeks to the setting for my location.? I have the gain down past the "recommended" setting.? Seems to only occur during the predawn, at my location, hours...
