M81

 

Dear RAC,

With galaxy season almost upon us-I wanted to try M81. Unfortunately didnt get enough time with the blue filter and clouds played hide and seek during the red and green sequences. So overall not the result I was hoping for. But here it is anyway. Had to crop tightly on the galaxy as there was a bad gradient from the clouds.

This is about 2 hours total integration using BVR filters and the 10" RC with QHY 294 M pro

With only 2hrs those dust lanes are already emerging. That is a great start to galaxy season. I¡¯m in Costa Rica for the week and brought my Seestar with me for fun and it is fun exploring at a totally different latitude.?
