Free Telescooes

 

Dear RAC,

I was contacted by a gentleman named Stephen Keating who will be moving out of the area in July. He wants to donate his two telescopes to anyone that would like them. One is a Celestron 70mm refractor and the other a Meade 4.5 ¡° reflector. See enclosed pictures. They are in mint condition. If you are interested Stephen says you can call him directly at 571-226-6243. I believe he lives in Fredericksburg.

Good afternoon,

If the telescopes aren¡¯t spoken for, my son Ian would love them. He is growing in expanded astronomy and is would like to lead Troop 2220 with multiple astronomy nights.

We will be at Goshen Scout Reservation in July. Hoping for extra clear and dark skies.

The two telescopes have been donated to a club member who has picked them up.

For others who may still be interested- our club has a host of telescopes available for loaning out.

?Bruce- they have been given to another club member but if you want to talk tonight at the meeting I¡¯m sure we can get you and your son set up with some club scopes that should work fine.
