Re: KitsAndParts uni-VFO kit
I've got one of those Uni-VFOs (and another one still in the paper bag, waiting to be soldered). I think it's a clever project and the small size, use of a pot for tuning, and configuration set by

Re: VHF QRP project/building
Hello Albert, I built something like you're describing a number of years ago. I had some hamfest flea market crystals, 3rd OT, for 50.245 that I wanted to do something with. The receiver section was

This is my storage for leaded components. Trays are 30 x 42cm, 2.2 or 5cm inner depth. In the case of resistors, the classification is not comfortable, 6 values (e.g. 10 12 15 18 22 27) in the same

Re: VHF QRP project/building
I actually have a Greek transistorized PRC-6 and I will most likely be looking at that board for some ideas. I have never designed a PA section and will need to study up on that. Thanks for the idea.

Re: VHF QRP project/building
A few years back, a company was selling PRC-6Ts. These were refurbished PRC6 WTs, that had a solid state module dropped in to replace the tubes. Far-fetched, but maybe you can find some PRC6 (or 6T)

Re: ADC 40 (and ADC 20) crystal filter info
Steve, Yes, the output from the G3URR testor is related to the crystal's Q. In my G3URR/W7ZOI measurement setup, I use a diode doubler on the output (from a G3URR article in the ARCI *QQ*) to a pair
