Re: DDS VFO!
Possibly for the lower bands. But some people feel a common VFO running at 2 to 3 MHz and heterodyned up for the mixer is a better solution I'm working on designing an Elecraft clone. I can't go

Bob, All you should need is a reprogramming.? No? 73, Gary WB6OGD

Re: 2n2xx Transceiver
Would be interested in 2 boards.? I tried building one of these manhattan style and failed.? As I recall it uses ring diode mixers.

Re: 2n2xx Transceiver
Sounds like a great project.? I would be interested in a couple of boards as well.? Thanks. 73/72 Kent KC9LIF

Re: DDS VFO!
I bought 49er and a W8TEE DDS VFO a couple years ago. I found the W8TEE DDS VFO is what you need to convert many earlier QRP designs to digital tuning. I am currently setting up a NC40 with a DDS VFO

I would like 4 boards (Winter projects are a must)! Just keep us posted as to availability date and price. I heard about this rig and was excited to see that it might be resurrected from history! Many

Figured I could get by without an introduction for a long time, but I feel a strong urge to request a 2n2xx board¡ Paul AF7HL

Re: DDS VFO!
The W8TEE DDS VFO can be built on a piece of Vector prototyping board. I would get a 4X6 protoboard with a ground plane and cut it in half The Ardunio NANO acts like a 40 pin IC and the 9850 module

Re: DDS VFO!
When I built my qrp-tech Norcal 40a I omitted the analog VFO circuitry and used the W8TEE et al DDS VFO (AD9850-based) from the Modular 49er project. It works well. I am running code by K4KRW that was
