Re: Size of SST
I built a Wilderness SST 30m and love it. Case is 3 3/4in front to back, 3 7/16 in width, and 1 9/16 in height.? I'm a bit rough on measurements, but these are not counting rubber feet on height. I

Size of SST
Will someone who has a Wilderness SST please do some measurements for me.? I need the measurements of the case, L x W x H, and the measurements of the board, L x W. Thank you in advance. Doug, KI6DS.

Since I was going to test and optimize the VXO circuit for the 3 bands, I decided that the best way to do so is to use the Solderless Breadboard.? Couldn't find the small one, so here is photo of the

I enjoyed the QRP HomeBuilder blog of VE7BPO, matches the spirit of this group very well. It certainly gave me a big push to (re)start homebrewing. It seems to be off the WWW, but the Wayback Machine

Re: Manhattan Projects: An Update[long]
I just wanted to add that, while the LT1252 is not the cheapest part around, it is still available from Mouser and Digikey. Mouser have the SMT version for $6.94 and the thru-hole one for $6.68. At

Try to get to nearby hamfests, eventually someone? may have emrfd at a reasonable price. Until then, see what you want to build, and put this crew to work to find info. I saw several completed qrp

I hope that a few folk get on board with building an SST Manhattan-style. I'm looking forward to following along, though I can't commit to anything, as I'm a bit tapped out from just finishing a

Re: Where (or What) to Begin?
Welcome Joel. I definitely agree with those who think that something simpler than an SST would be better for a first Manhattan/Ugly build. It can take a few simple projects to get your technique down.

Joel, Concur with Chuck's recommendation of the scribd.com site. It is a pay site at $11.95 per month and you have to proffer a card but there is a 30-day free trial and there are a lot of
