Doug how long are your test leads? Really long leads can mess up the readings even if zeroed out.

I've begun building this transmitter (Manhattan style) but cannot get the oscillator to oscillate. Has anyone built this before? I also put the oscillator into LTSpice and did not see oscillation.

Doug W Not much in these things but an oscillator, a frequency counter and some easy math. I mentioned a simple instrument that makes an L or C measurement, and renders answer in Morse code. It does
