Claimed new world record
I hope this never happens to you.
Good news.? DHL found my two board sets in the package.? :-) Bad news.??? DHL is taking them around the world.? :-( Two different projects on PCBs from allpcb.com.? Still have not arrived in PHX, but they are back in the states this morning, Monday Nov 24, 2017. Here is the trip they took: 1.? Zhejiang, China --> Los Angeles, CA?? 10 520 km (6 537 mi) 2.? Los Angeles, CA --> Leipzig, Germany 9 371 km (5 823 mi) 3.? Leipzig, Germany --> Cincinnati, OH? 7 142 km (4 437 mi) 4.? Cincinnati, OH --> Phoenix, AZ? 2 534 km (1 574 mi) Leg 4 is predicted flight and has yet to happen.? :-) Distance traveled:? 29 567 km (18 371 mi). The diameter of the Earth is? 24 901 mi.? Thus a total trip of 0.738 of a circle trip around the equator.? By plane. First class. No need for a plaque and no need for comments.? :-) Good thing I have a sense of humor and have other projects on the workbench. Math is fun, show this to your grandkids.? Note.? I used the three digit spacing used by the international scientific community, as a comma is a decimal point in some cultures. chuck, k7qo |

The boards like they are well traveled! Just hope who ever receives the board can make their signal to follow the route the boards took. 72 Ron WB3AAL On Nov 24, 2017 10:39 AM, "chuck adams" <chuck.adams.k7qo@...> wrote:

Quit complaining. Two more stops and the rig will be half way to DXCC!Here is the trip they took: It is amazing sometimes the circuitous route the various package services use. But, the above is one for the record books. 72, Paul NA5N |
