Re: Preliminary results -- W8TEE/AC8GY Mag Loop Testing
Hello Jack, Thanks. I found references to those and intend to follow up. That is part of the "way forward" I mentioned. Once upon a time, before there was an IBM PC or Apple at my house I started to

Re: Preliminary results -- W8TEE/AC8GY Mag Loop Testing
Bill: If that fills the bill, great. If there are some "programming gaps" you feel need more detail, take a look at the reviews on Amazon for Beginning C for Arduino to see if you think it might help.

Re: Preliminary results -- W8TEE/AC8GY Mag Loop Testing
Hi Jack, I have "Arduino for Amateur Radio". It has not only helped with a better understanding of programming and using Arduinos (and microcontrollers) but points the way forward. I have ordered more

Re: Preliminary results -- W8TEE/AC8GY Mag Loop Testing
We agree. The question we're trying to answer is: How much are we giving up with a ML verses an EFHW (or other) antenna? If we get the time, we might also test against a vertical, too. Any ML is a

Re: Preliminary results -- W8TEE/AC8GY Mag Loop Testing
I would anticipate there would be a significant difference in efficiency between 20m and 40m with 40m about 6db down on 20m. Hard to see getting positive gain over an efhw so presume this was for 20m?

Re: QRPguys multi-band EFHW tuner query
I finally got a clue, and hooked this up to the EFHW multi-band tuner I'm building the antenna for. In tune mode, I now have between 1.2 and 1.5:1 on all three bands.
