Hello William, K6WHP, The Arduino was my entry drug into hobby electronics. A CK-1000 Basic Electronics Parts Kit from Radio Shack was the beginnings of my fascinating journey into the mysterious world of electrons. I played around with all sorts of things before I got into Ham Radio. Arduino projects, Robots, DIY Synths, and so forth. I got into Ham Radio because of hobby electronics. My background is Art. After coming home from the RVN, I went to Art school on the G.I.Bill. Those were the best four years of my life! I am Maths challenged (thus the Art degree). I know that I will never be an electronics technician or electronics engineer. I am just a hobbyist. I let the Engineers design the kits. I try to build them. I must admit that the QCX is one of the most complex, yet easiest to build radio kits that I have ever attempted. I am looking forward to ordering and building the 'Organic' 5-Watter. Somewhere, in between building kits, I am trying to learn the Morse code. Someday, it will all come together, and I will make my first CW QSO with a QRP kit, soldered with my own hands, and sent/received with my handmade 40M attic dipole. Until then, I remain your servant, and Not Fully Qualified. Regards, Ken, KM4NFQ "Not Fully Qualified" On Thu, Jun 27, 2019 at 11:40 AM k6whp <k6whp@...> wrote:
