I have been looking around but cant find an answer to this question, and I can't seem to figure out myself.? How does the Layout profiles work?? I tried creating 2, but I cant see any difference, and I thought it was for like window organization, but it does not save the changes I did.? So I don't see what it is for.

It allows you to configure which fields are arranged in the quick access rows vs the details tab. See wiki:

I think it should also save window arrangements.? Just make sure you hit save then you can switch between them.
