Satellite Support for QO-100 Crossband

I have been using the QO-100 satellite with the Adalm Pluto and the SDR console for some time now.
Using virtual serial ports, I have now managed to transfer the frequency to the logbook software via CAT. Unfortunately, I can't log this way because I'm transmitting on 13 cm and not on 10 GHz.
?
I could now use an (activatable) crossband satellite operation function that converts from 3cm to 13cm using a defined, adjustable factor. This frequency is then logged. Perhaps where the radio is configured?

Does this function exist in Qlog?
If not - is this something that could be implemented?

Hello Peter,

I think, Rig RX/TX offset can help you. You can define the for each Rig profile to achieve the correct frequency in the log.

Hi Ladislav,
dear all,
not sure if rit is the way to go.
Guess I need a kind of a converter selection to calc the transmitter frequency from the receiver frequency in this case. The result must be logged.
Have a look below- need to log the transmit frequency 13cm not the receiver frequency which is coming with cat

Peter,

I don't know if we understand each other, but QO-100 is not a problem to operate with QLog. Did you try the Offsets as I sent you? What didn't work about it? Maybe I'm missing something.?

I tested a setting for QO-100 and a dummy rig (Rig simulator). Here is the result.

The result is

Indeed - this helped a lot. I did found my mistake and Problem was solved with your advice!?
Many thanks and 73

Is also needed put the propagation mode in Satellite, SAT mode and SAT name in Details.

It's possible include this parameters into a profile in "My station" ??

It doesn't make much sense to include Propagation Mode in the Station Profile, because the profile has nothing to do with Propagation mode.

I have different profiles for special stations and rigs, and the profiles are very useful.

Another question is how add a QSO from QO-100 from JTDX via UDP, I use a special version? made for QO-100 that add the correct offset in the ADIF when using in SDRConsole.

The ADIF are written correctly in the ADIF that generate JTDX but when JTDX send to the UDP Qlog only register the RX band as TX (3cm)

<call:6>EA5DHO <gridsquare:4>JN46 <mode:3>FT8 <rst_sent:3>-15 <rst_rcvd:3>-15 <qso_date:8>20240509 <time_on:6>230450 <qso_date_off:8>20240509 <time_off:6>230450 <band:4>13cm <freq:11>2400.040997 <band_rx:3>3cm <freq_rx:12>10489.540997 <prop_mode:3>SAT <sat_mode:2>SX <sat_name:6>QO-100 <station_callsign:5>EA5SW <my_gridsquare:6>IM99hf <eor>

I'm using QLOG with 4 different radios using the "My station" profiles and there really are just a few little things left that make it even more useful than it already is.

Please, could you send me a link where to download the JTDX "special version"?

I'm using a special version from Arvo, ES1JA?

Thanks Roberto. Do you have the same issue ?

@Jose: Is this link correct what you are using ?
