Re: Surnames not always logged
ok, let's unify the first and last name in QLog. I did research with the following findings. 1) In the case of HamQTH Callbook query, the first and last name is recorded by QLog 2) In the case of QRZ Callbook query, only the first name is recorded by QLog Despite the fact that I think that the last name is not so important in the Hamradio world , QRZ and HamQTH callbook queries should have the same result in QLog. I will fix it in QLog to add the last name to QLog's "Name" field. ne 7. 4. 2024 v?2:33 odes¨ªlatel <VK4TDW@...> napsal:

CW Console
Hi
Firstly can I say I have been using Qlog for the last few days and I am very impressed with it so far (especially Dark Mode).? A couple of comments: 1. I have a Kenwood TS590SG which I control using its ARCP software.? Using Qlog with Omnirig v1 allows me to connect Qlog to the rig at the same time. I have noticed in the Rig window that it shows the rig being in CW reverse (CWR) when it is in CW mode.? Also If I click on a station in the bandmap the rig QSYs to that frequency and but puts the rig into CWR.? It is not a big deal as I can simply change it back but it is annoying. 2.? As a CW op would it be possible to add something to the CW console so that anything you type in the text to send field is transmitted as you type?? At the moment if you type something it seems it is only sent by hitting the Enter key.? Transmitting while you type would allow a more free flowing conversation.? I have seen other software like CW Type do this by having a "Transmit" button which you can click on prior to typing. 73 Mark ZL3AB |

Re: Satellite Support for QO-100 Crossband
Hi Ladislav,
dear all, not sure if rit is the way to go. Guess I need a kind of a converter selection to calc the transmitter frequency from the receiver frequency in this case. The result must be logged. Have a look below- need to log the transmit frequency 13cm not the receiver frequency which is coming with cat |
Re: Satellite Support for QO-100 Crossband
Hello Peter, I think, Rig RX/TX offset can help you. You can define the for each Rig profile to achieve the correct frequency in the log. Regards Ladislav ?? so 6. 4. 2024 v?18:13 odes¨ªlatel DL4ZAQ_Peter <cpneff@...> napsal:

Satellite Support for QO-100 Crossband
I have been using the QO-100 satellite with the Adalm Pluto and the SDR console for some time now.
Using virtual serial ports, I have now managed to transfer the frequency to the logbook software via CAT. Unfortunately, I can't log this way because I'm transmitting on 13 cm and not on 10 GHz.
?
I could now use an (activatable) crossband satellite operation function that converts from 3cm to 13cm using a defined, adjustable factor. This frequency is then logged. Perhaps where the radio is configured?
Does this function exist in Qlog? If not - is this something that could be implemented? 73 Peter DL4ZAQ ? |

Re: Logbook Location
Ok thank you.? I guess I was thinking much more simplistically.? I know with RumLogNG I just save my log file in my dropbox folder.? I just make sure to only use one instance at a time and make sure dropbox is sync'd in dropbox before opening it. Thanks for the quick response. 73's Michael, AA5SH On Tue, Apr 2, 2024 at 10:24?AM ok1mlg <ok1mlg@...> wrote:

Re: Logbook Location
Hi Michael, Unfortunately, QLog is not ready to have the database stored anywhere other than on the local filesystem. There are also other things that prevent the implementation of multiplatform migration of the raw QLog data. I discussed a similar topic on Github and I would like to have some kind of synchronization, but there are many other things that have a higher priority.
Currently, there is only possibility to export/import QSO via ADI/ADX format. QLog generate also backup as it is described on QLog Regards Ladislav ¨²t 2. 4. 2024 v?17:09 odes¨ªlatel Michael Morgan <cmorgan13@...> napsal: I was looking at qLog as a potential solution for me for a cross platform situation.? So far I really like the software although I have only spent a hour or so with it.? I like the filter options in the DXCluster.? I think many loggers really miss the mark with that.?? 73's Michael, AA5SH |
Re: Release 0.34
Hello Jose, plase, see my response If you want to play with the database, the database is stored in the same directory as the backup ().
I would not recommend you to perform any changes in the internal database without knowledge of the internal processes in QLog. Regards Ladislav st 27. 3. 2024 v?8:24 odes¨ªlatel Jose - EA5SW <ea5sw.ampr.org@...> napsal: What is the path of the database in Linux? and Windows ??? |

HRDlog On-Air message - Not sending
Hi Ladislav
I must be doing something wrong. I have ticked the box here File ¡ú Settings ¡ú Sync & QSL ¡ú HRDLog The upload code has been included along with my call sign in the required fields. But I can not get the 'On Air" icon to show up on my QRZ page using the script generated from HRDlog.net site. The feature works from LOG4OM . I must have misconstrued something in QLog (MS Windows 11 Version)?Cheers VK4IM Adam |
