Author's comment: If someone comes up with a functional synchronization solution, it will be welcome. So far, we have only been discussing this on a highly abstract level. I have already spent a lot of time on this topic, and every solution has led to overly complex mechanisms that I simply do not have the time capacity for. Therefore, I can say for myself that I will not implement this topic in the medium term. That being said, if someone provides a detailed functional solution, It will be welcome.
Theoretically it should be possible to set the original database as master, dump it to a slave copy and then set up two-way sync on both, also using vpn. But the author of the program would have to comment first , because this requires actions on databases outside the logger and may not be easy for the average user.
