Little things like this happen all the time. No harm, no foul. I can't see how knowing who is at what end of the band would be much of an advantage. You still need to find them, then hear them, then get them to hear you. You still need to hear the call sign to make sure it isn't some other signal......

That's tomorrow night....... plenty of time to screw things up and still make it to the hunt.

Agreed Mike-we’ll keep everyone guessing. For my part I’ll be running from the deep left coast with my K4D and delta loop. I generally work up 1-2 KHz and because signals will likely be pretty weak best bet is to spread out. QSB is a perennial issue so we’ll deal with that. Speed 20-22 WPM but I’ll try to match you. Also do not give up early as from out here the band will generally open up again for the last half hour. Good luck!
