FOX: RE: Fox Hunt Log - KG0PP - Feb 17th

Steven Pituch

A suggestion: When the Fox is asking for fills on
info from a specific hound, > please stand by and do
not send your callsign as it
delays the exchange and > takes up valuable time
that could be used to make
additional contacts. Thanks
Jim - KG0PP

Hi all,
I observed this happening during the hunt, and I already have some comments
about this at my website. If you want to look, go to my main page, then
"Amateur Radio", then "Fun with CW", and then go to the "Reflections on the
2/18/05 Foxhunt: Listening and Transmitting" topic.

Thanks much for this great post, Steven. It was,
indeed, awful last week. One thinks of recording and
posting a .wav file of the offenders - doesn't one? As
usual, one of the worst, always, was Tom, N1TP...who
used to be a member of the Fox Committee. He just
keeps sending his call, no matter what, until he works
the Fox.

This was sent to this list in error; meant to be a
private post.
