Basically, nothing. I'll post a detailed summary of the presentation after I finish my HVAC install as it's rather hot now here.
David scheduled it to start art 7:30 pm, 30 minutes before the vendor displays opened, At 8 pm half or more of the audience left to line up to buy a QMX+ from Hans. Can't balme them.
It's a QMX in a larger enclosure, built in GPS option, dev board for stuff like an internal LiPo & BMS, ATU, etc. and 160-6 m coverage. My dream HW platform for what I want to do. It's quite awesome.
I bought an sBitx from Ashar Farahan, hfsignals.com, and plan to implement CCW and a direct sequence spread spectrum Morse protocol available as open source for the sBitx and closed source for the QMX line using a dual license. Ashar put me in contact with Phil Karn who told me it can't be done. To which I responded, "I'll need to send you a demonstration." I'll post it here and CC Phil when it's ready.
I got back yesterday, so I've got a lot of work to do to get caught up to being behind on far too many projects.
This was my first FDIM/Hamvention trip so I'm madly trying to process all the input.
Have Fun!
