I just got my mini operational and would like to see the RF output. I'm not sure how to get this done. I've jumpered the DVM and RF together. How do I see the RF displayed? Go to #9 Test Equipment and then 9.2 and press key?

Hi Bill,

Those are both inputs.
I don't think you want to short them together.
The DVM input has no rectification.
As I understand it, the RF input is for troubleshooting.
You can plug one end of a wire into pin 2 of JP17 and use the other end of the wire as a probe.
Then you can roughly see the power on the battery meter (where no reading means 0 and full scale means about 5W).
I vaguely remember the discussion of this feature on the QRPLabs group.
But I don't remember if it is really intended for permanent power monitoring or if there may be unintended side effects of leaving it hooked up that way.
