Hi folks,

We got back from our trip to Washington and Colorado last Saturday.? Seventeen days of sunny, dry and hot weather sure felt good after days and days of cool, rainy weather here in southcentral Alaska since early July (which has continued right through the fall season).? I saw the first snow on the mountains this morning here in Eagle River valley.? It is known locally as "termination dust".

I received three sets of prints from Rob, Steve and Richard while I was away.? There are eight days left in September, so if you haven't already mailed your prints to me, please do it soon.? I would like to have all the prints sorted and mailed back to you during the first week of October, if not sooner.

Mea a culpa, Gary! Finishing up this evening, in tomorrow’s mail.?

Thanks for the updates Nara, Josh and Mike.? I am flying to Seattle again this Wednesday and will not be back in Alaska until this Sunday evening.? My wife Kathleen will be here this week to receive any prints that arrive while I'm in Washington.? Early next week will be the soonest I can get the Sept/Oct prints sorted and mailed back to everyone, if the remaining prints arrive here by then.

I will post the sign-up for the October/November print exchanges today.

Mike's prints arrived yesterday, so I have all the Aug/Sept prints now.? I will get them sorted, re-packed and mailed back to all of you in the next couple of days.

Winter weather made its first appearance here in Eagle River yesterday.? Snow and ice.? So much fun.? :-(
