paperLOG /g/paperLOG This is a discussion group for users of the free HAM Radio logging software paperLOG. paperLOG came into being when it was observed on the internet that there were wishes for a logging program that emulated a paper log and created an ADIF file. paperLOG is a very simple program, still in its beta stage of construction and testing, please report any bugs or improvement suggestions here. There are version of paperLOG for linux, windows and osx, available at www.na6f.net/paperLOG. Thanks for your interest. 73 Rich NA6F Mon, 18 Nov 2019 12:36:00 -0800 Re: Down load /g/paperLOG/message/50 Hi Rich down load sorted just me looking in wrong place for the down load site.73 Henryk henryspcs@... A little frustrated here, trying to run the Windows version (Windows 8.1 under VMWare on my Mac ,10.14.6 ) The Mac version runs just fine in OSX.

No matter what I put in the Filename for the install location, nothing works. I've put the executable on the desktop, on the c: drive ....everywhere.

Yes, in the example above, I'm asking the program to be installed in a paperLOGV1 folder on the desktop. I've tried without the folder on the desktop, hoping it would create it (nope). or with an empty paperLOGv1 folder sitting on the desktop as well.

I am missing something. The program just aborts (does not complete the install).
