Greetings all,

I was recently made aware of a couple of errors in the access of the download site and the links to it from this group.
Rick, DJ0IP, who is a very knowledgeable HAM now living in Germany, pointed out a couple of the errors, thanks RIck.
I have now I believe repaired all the errors.
Please let me know iof any additional errors.

Well, it took a while, and I had to switch both domain registrars and hosting service, but everything is now working again.

The new place is both the registrar and the hosting service, so no arguments about whose fault any problems that develop are.

Hey Dave,

I had the same problem. It took me some time to realize that the program wanted me to SELECT a folder from the list of folders that already exist on your computer. I think at some point, there were two levels of folders (on my PC) that I navigated to and then the program installed fine.

You need to create a folder first (I like paperLOG, your v1 would work fine), then unzip the zip file into that directory, then when the program starts, select that directory as the installation directory.
The program just needs to know where to find the files.

Help,
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get past the choose "installation Folder" window for the actual install. What am I doing wrong? A little frustrated here, trying to run the Windows version (Windows 8.1 under VMWare on my Mac ,10.14.6 ) The Mac version runs just fine in OSX.

No matter what I put in the Filename for the install location, nothing works. I've put the executable on the desktop, on the c: drive ....everywhere.

Yes, in the example above, I'm asking the program to be installed in a paperLOGV1 folder on the desktop. I've tried without the folder on the desktop, hoping it would create it (nope). or with an empty paperLOGv1 folder sitting on the desktop as well.

I am missing something. The program just aborts (does not complete the install). Or if it does, I don't know where it installed it!

I really think this could be a winner for our upcoming WFF-KFF and POTA activations in the San Bernardino NF.

OK, sorry for the interruption, family.

Here are the MAC instructions to get a shortcut on the desktop:
- open a terminal window
        - The Terminal app is in the Utilities folder in Applications.
        - To open it, either open your Applications folder, then open Utilities and double-click on Terminal, OR
        - press Command - spacebar to launch Spotlight and type "Terminal," then double-click the search result.
- In the following 2 commands, replace rich with your user name:
    - cd /Users/rich/paperLOG ( or whatever folder you put paperLOG in)
    - ln -s /Users/rich/paperLOG/paperLOG /Users/rich/Desktop
    - that will generate an item on your desktop called paperLOG
    - when you want to run the program, double click on it, OR right click and select OPEN.

That's it
