Re: R2.4 gmime libs
Hi Dana, I downloaded the tarball this morning and quickly built it on Ubuntu 8.04LTS. I was expecting problems building it as I got the impression that I would have difficulty. Should I be pulling

Re: R2.4 gmime libs
Sorry, John. I'm a little confused about which tarball. Do you mean paclink-unix or gmime? My gmime libs came along when I upgraded to FC 11. The paclink-unix code that I had u

Re: R2.4 gmime libs
paclink-unix ok.. 8.04LTS obviously hasn't changed, so I haven't encountered the gmime issue. Is there a link to the CVS instructions. I didn't find one earlier or does the tarball reflect the latest

Re: R2.4 gmime libs
The tarball is dated March 29, 2009, but the gmime updates are only about 100 days old. Are you a CVS user already?

I just uploaded a new tarball with the latest sources. Hopefully that should get you going for now. Eventually you will probably want to get CVS access working. The basics: cvs

Re: paclink-unix-0.4 working on Ubuntu 9.04
Excellent news, Basil. I am glad to hear that the message transfer worked, more or less, over the ax25 link. I will dig in to see where the wl2kax25 code is hanging. Can I ask what equipment you are

Hi Dana, Here's what I'm using for the radio link: TNC - Kantronics KPC3+ Radio - Kenwood TM-271A The TNC is wired to the data pads on the radio's PCB. The European version of the TM-271A has a data

Re: paclink-unix-0.4 working on Ubuntu 9.04
Hi Nick, The message id not containing my call sign is my fault. I had my head stuck in my dev directory & edited that wl2k.conf file there instead of the proper /usr/local/etc/ location. I used cvs

Hi, Right I pulled the CVS just now. It doesn't say it anywhere but I guessed to run autogen.sh first. in the paclink-unix directory This is being done on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. Gmime wasn't the correct

I'll add my two cents... I did a similar thing and was able to send an e-mail via a local RMSGateway. The message that I sent had multiple lines; the newline characters appear to have been eaten by

I have to plead ignorance on that, William. I will look into the newline characters, though. It rings a bell for me, but I think it was something I read a long time ago on either the Winlink or FBB
