I'm planning for the eclipse on April 8th, and was wondering if anyone has a reputable source for eclipse viewing glasses in the city. It strikes me as the kind of thing you shouldn't buy the cheapest version of off of Amazon, you know?

Anatomy of a Sunspot presentation this Friday
Good afternoon all, For those interested in solar observing, I am giving a presentation at the RASC monthly meeting this Friday on sunspots.? You can attend in person at the Canadian Museum of Aviation & Space (starts at 7:30pm), or you can watch online by registering at the link below.? The meeting is open to all, not just RASC members, and admission is free although there is a parking fee if you park at the museum.

The gabfests are our monthly informal get togethers at the Tim Horton on Innes road. ?They occur on the third Thursday of every month. ?All are welcome, veteran group members and newcomers alike. ?Unfortunately due to the busy Holiday Season, this month¡¯s gabfest is postponed. ?We apologize for not announcing this sooner. ?Hoping to see you at an upcoming event!
