Thanks for posting my request on my behalf. Having retired because of my health and being Sharon’s 24/7 carer I’ve been struggling what I want to model for me. It works out that 14mm is a good compromise between my various ideas.?

I have all the bits I need for making track, apart from gauges and Frank is right I have the ability to make some, but it’s just another obstacle. Having a couple of brass ready made ones means I could start tomorrow apart from taking Sharon to the hospital. I think I will draw one and send it to Shapeways (Not brass, it shrinks).?

Good to hear that you are modelling 014, but sorry to hear about the ever increasingly common health problems you are both having to endure.

My modelling is often unconventional and thus over the years I have built layouts in P4 standard gauge, P4 Narrow gauge 014 and now 017.5 and never used a gauge at all. I have just used my trusty digital vernier and slips of card for flangeway gaps. Maybe not ideal, but it would get you going while Shapeways does your printing?
I could be converted though and buy one of yours from Shapeways if they become available.?
