Re: [O-14] Front Page photo!
Frank,
the Grandt Line battery loco comes as a complete kit for On30, and I think for On3 as well. If I remember correctly, it was about ?35. It is mostly injection moulded styrene with what looks

Re: [O-14] Garratt Progress
David,
I've done the G16 in a very similar way, but used Branchlines 1/8th to
1.5mm reducing bushes as the 'boss'. Mine are not interchangeable and
are fixed with Araldite. I quartered using a

Re: [O-14] Re: Rail Dimension Info Required
John,
Seems like an interesting article (or series), getting down to such
fine detail about rail sizes.
I measured my Micro-Engineering rail, although my digital calipers
don't seem to be accurate,

Re: Rail Dimension Info Required
Hi John
Head and base width would be useful if you can get reasonably accurate
measurements (e.g. to 0.1 mm)
This is part of my research into what model rail is available in the
marketplace and

Re: [O-14] Re: Rail Dimension Info Required
John,
I have ME code 55 and code 70 rail at home, but nothing other than
calipers to measure with. I could get rail head width and base width,
but the web might be tricky.
I am interested in why

SAR 2' gauge goods wagons in 7mm scale
Hi list:
FYI, a member of the South African Railways modelling list has expressed interest in
developing and producing a short run - about 100 kits - in resin for the NGB class wagons
in 7mm scale

Re: [O-14] Info wanted on rail dimensions
The Peco IL-115 rail (code 82) is as follows:
Foot - 1.77mm
Head - 0.89mm
Height - 2.08mm
I chose this rail for use with the RCL 14mm gauge components as, unlike other sizes, it is an exceptionally

Hi
Forgive the cross post for those who are also members of the 7mmnga

I am trying to find out the rail dimensions for the various rail
