You have my sympathy John; we move on Monday after 32 years in the same house, and it’s chaos! But, there’s then a whole new railway room to look forward to, with enough space for a decent sized layout at long last.
Hope it all goes well

Good to see the entire native habitat of the PLR! Not envious of the move, though, I’ve got a serious accumulation in the basement…

Happy Birthday to us!

?

Hope you all celebrate in an appropriate fashion, I have restarted another dormant project.? I have to admit that a benefit of lockdown for me has been the opportunity to finish a few locos.? The down side is that I haven’t been able to run them as Tony’s Forest really only gets put up at exhibitions.

Cheers,

Re: Roy C Link - RIP

I stood open-mouthed at his work. ?Rarely does artistic talent and mechanical skill combine so prodigiously. ?He will always be a master storyteller of things industrial and railway.

Very sad news. I have every issue of the Review and provided lettering for the station on the outdoor Copper Beech line.

Deeply saddened to hear this. It was Roy's inspirational writing and his RCL range that helped steer me in the direction of narrow gauge when I returned to the hobby in my 30s. Rest in peace and condolences to his family and friends.?

With best wishes from Sweden,? George.?

A loss indeed. Though I never spoke to him directly I would often see him at expong and his work and words through the years has always been a delight, while his name linked to anything would be an indicator of excellence. Condolences to his family and to those who knew him personally. He was one of the best.

That's excellent Brian. Any plans to sell either further rollers or corrugated brass to fellow modellers?
