开云体育Thanks for the detailed reply Brian. ? Wow, that’s so clever and my heart was sinking the more I read until you mentioned doing a kit!? I have kit building skills but my scratch building skills are rudimentary to say the least.? A kit would be very welcome. ? Cheers, Robin ? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]

Each of the axleboxes have 2 x 1mm hex bolts holding them to the chassis when you remove the wheels there is another plate which incorporates the motor mounting which is held in place by 2 1.6mm phillips screws, when u remove those screws
the entire motor and mounting bracket releases from the frame of the loco, to reassemble you first fit the mounting frame to the motor then lock the triple pulley to the motor output shaft then screw in the 2 1.6mm screw that lock the motor to the mounting
frame, you then slide the motor and mounting bracket into the loco frame and screw in the 2 x 1.6mm screws to lock it to the frame, you then bring the set of wheels with the O ring on the axle and bolt them in place, then the each set of wheels has the pulley
on the axle mounted in a offset position the axle that aligns with the closest pulley on the motor shaft? to the motor frame has to have the O ring fitted first there is enough room at the end of the motor shaft to allow the O ring to fit and the last O ring
which drives the fan goes onto the motor shaft last. So replacing any of the O rings is fairly easy the O rings are Nitrile NBR? rubber so they will last a long time and won't perish. |
