With nearly 1,000 members and over 20 years online, this group has a long tradition of helping the owners of Nordhavn yachts, and we believe that about 95% of the world's Nordhavn owners are members. Our membership includes Nordhavn owners and captains, former owners, and other members of the Nordhavn family, including over 20 distinguished volunteer marine industry experts we hold in very high regard for their uncanny ability to diagnose problems, recommend great solutions, and keep us well informed. They help add great depth to NOG.?

Camaraderie among Nordhavn owners has long been one of the keynotes of this group, and we aim to keep it that way. Please consider yourself among friends here on NOG--whether or not you've met 'em in person.?

Nordhavn Owners Group is a free, non-commercial forum where owners, new and old, can connect with other owners and learn more about owning, operating and maintaining a Nordhavn. NOG’s focus is serving as a members’ clearinghouse for ideas, opinions, advice, counsel, and personal experiences, and for exchanging information involving all things Nordhavn, including crossing oceans, offshore and coastal cruising, seamanship, anchoring, and ground tackle, navigation, boatkeeping, electronics, electrical systems, engines, transmissions, generators, stabilizers, other equipment, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and improvements, living aboard, weather, and other subjects of particular interest to those of us who own and cruise aboard? Nordhavn yachts. Former Nordhavn owners are always. welcome.

Some members just "read the mail" and post occasionally here on NOG, but we also have a large number of very active members and you'll see the names of those members here over and over. No member is required to post on NOG, but we actively encourage all members to do that. We believe you'll have a better Nordhavn experience if you join in the fray and post your questions, answers, ideas, and opinions on some of the many topics posted here.?

If you're looking for answers or help in solving a problem aboard your Nordhavn, you'll find it easy to use this group to connect with other owners and have your questions answered. When posting a question, be specific--and please be sure to include your Nordhavn's model and hull number, homeport or geographical location, and anything else pertinent to your questions including the brand and model of equipment you're asking about, including pictures or videos as needed.? Important: more detail in your questions will bring you better answers!??

The principle your moderator team uses in managing NOG is “What's best for Nordhavn owners?” and we ask that every member keep that question in mind. If you believe something you propose to post is of interest to or to the benefit of Nordhavn owners, please post it.?

Important: if you apply to join our group, please be sure to include your name(s), your Nordhavn’s name, model, and hull number, and homeport or current cruising area. Also, for verification, be sure to include the name and email of the seller of the boat or the broker who handled the sale on your behalf.
