Ah, therein lies the problem. The Mobilinkd isn't a true TNC, but an interface to the radio. You need a software modem that speaks KISS TNC on the respective system you're connecting to the Mobilinkd from.? On Windows, I use UZ7HO's SoundModem and his EasyTerm with a DigiRig. It's been awhile, but I believe I had to use AGW Packet Engine to interface with the Mobilinkd TNC 3. You can set it to KISS TNC mode. Go here and download AGWPE.ZIP:?? (If someone else has guidance on interfacing UZ7HO SoundModem with the Mobilinkd, please do share!) On Android, APRSdroid () has a built-in soundmodem you'd configure to connect to the Bluetooth device,?and it works great with the Mobilinkd. Likewise, WoAD or Winlink on Android () speaks KISS TNC. I wish there was a regular terminal app for BBS access on Android that had a built-in sound modem.? On Linux, maybe ChromeOS with Linux enabled, Direwolf will probably work best.
