If anyone is in the Boston area it might be interesting to check out MIT's monthly flea market (3rd Sunday of the Month).
Mostly it's a random mix of new or old electronics. There are vacuum tubes galore, connectors and cables for days, tons of knobs, analog meters and pretty random stuff. There are sellers with audio stuff from junk to high end.
The only Nixie related item I've seen there was quite a few years ago someone had the boards with the pairs of B-7971's. They firmly wanted $30 for them. At the time that was more expensive than on eBay.
There are sellers with cheapo flea market type items to one guy with a display of German Enigma machines.
Some of the treasures I purchased are a 1970's 8080a microprocessor trainer ($5), Thin 12"x18" double sided pcb ($3), a 500' roll of silver plated teflon wire wrap wire ($3). I got a bunch of 1 of 10 thumbwheel switches from someone's "FREE" pile.
Admit is $5 w/ $1 off if you print a copy of their flier. Google MIT FLEA for info.
If you go, enjoy! Steve S.
