If you tested .21 and had very bad color rendition, please try
the following before running .22
- locate the file fldigi_def.xml
on windows in the folder: fldigi.files
on Linux/MacOS in the folder: $HOME/.fldigi
- open the file using a text editor
locate and delete these lines:

background color -->
<BACKGROUND>-1195853824</BACKGROUND>
<!-- type: int; default: -875174400
background2 color -->
<BACKGROUND2>-875174400</BACKGROUND2>
<!-- type: int; default: 269488128
foreground color -->
<FOREGROUND>269488128</FOREGROUND>
the actual values may not be the same on your system.
- save the file
- start .22
the colors should be close to the original default colors
- open the configuration dialog to
- adjust the Background, Background2, and Foreground colors to
suit
- save the configuration
