Yet another NanoVNA case

I tried a few of the cases users from this group had uploaded to Thingyverse, but it seems like there must be some size differences between different versions as the ones I tried did not fit due to the sma connectors being slightly in the wrong place or the panels front and back panels being slightly too big.

As such I decided to make my own, and steel some of the good ideas from Ornotermes design.

I have included a accessories tray, but on the side rather than the bottom.

So far it seems to work well for my unit.

It looks like an interesting design, and I agree the storage location seems better in your design.

I see you only posted the STL files. I was curious what you used to design the box, and whether you would be willing to upload the design file (not just the output STL) in case others need to tweak the design.

It was designed using the free Designspark Mechanical. I can certainly upload the original cad drawings, but it takes more effort to export them to a non proprietary file, so that may take me a few days to get around to.

Hi there,

For the less savvy on CAD, simply upload the STL to
and edit there. Cut, copy, paste, resize, play
around... I did many of my 3D objects there.

Then export it in STL and print.

Printed it, fits well for my version.
Thanks, HexAndFlex!

No prob

For those of us who have no capabilities to print this object, would you be able to give us some direction as to how to get it printed and shipped to us? Thanks. It looks perfect for my needs

Go to:
Click on ¡°order this printed¡±.
Create a million accounts with various entities, decide between a dozen aggregators, and between the dozen printers that may be offered by an aggregator in your vicinity, and the materials and colors they can print in (plan a couple of hours for this part).
Pay.
Wait a week or so.

(I have ordered a wooden version(*). Let¡¯s see how that comes out :-)

Done! Relatively painless. Thank you very much!!!

I would offer these in my Tindie shop, but there seem to be so many slightly different version of the nanoVNA, I really couldn't grantee it would fit.

I tried this, and was greeted with a choice of three printer apps, none of
which seemed to be able to initiate delivery to Sweden...

You can use shapeways, imaterialize, 3d hubs or any number of other places.

My advice is that if you are the sort of person that enjoys tinkering with this sort of thing, you are highly likely to enjoy 3d printing also. An Ender3 or similar are pretty cheap these days.

I would offer these for sale on my Tindie store, but as it seems that there are so many subtle variations between different VNAs it's a recipe for complaints.

I have updated Thingyverse with step files should anyone wish to make their own modifications.
