The language selection feature doesn't seem to work on Safari, Chrome, or Firefox (MacOS Big Sur) - I think that something is not causing the translation to work, or it to re-render - If one selects a different language, it shows up as checked the next time, but no translation occurs.

Chrome does bring up a dialog offering Google Translate, which does work.

I found a solution in the forum for the Google translate module to work. It was a problem for others as well, so I have already found the solution as many users. Thanks to the users who provided a solution on the forum.
I hope it works for someone else now!
