How to make Nano VNA Saver fit the full screen without using vertical scrollbars

Hello,

Is there a way to configure NanoVAN Saver so that the entire Window fits the screen? My Screen resolution maximum on my HP laptop is 1366 X 768

Thanks,

Sam W3OHM

Hi Sam,
what operating system are you using? I have tested 0.1.4 on a virtual
machine with a 1366x768 screen, and it fits without scroll bars - *just* -
with the default setup, on Windows 7, at font size 8. :-)

Hi Rune,
I am using Windows 10 on a HP15 f162dX 15" screen 16:9 aspect ratio laptop.
Data is here:

I like is because it's a Intel I3 is lightweight and has a nice display. I
picked it up at a ham swap meet dirt cheap a couple of years ago. They
still make it along with several derivatives.

Hello again Rune,

Once I figured out how to hide the taskbar (face palm!) it fits. It would
be nice of it would fit without hiding the taskbar though.

Hi Sam,
I think maybe the Windows 10 task bar is a few pixels more than the Windows
7 one?

I'll try to see if I can find a few pixels in the interface so it will fit
- it should be possible :-) It probably won't be for the next release,
though, as this is almost ready.

I'm using a Dell laptop at 1366x768, font size 8, 16:9 aspect ratio, Windows 10. I haven't had problems with the scrollbars being present or overlaying the taskbar since before nanovna-saver version 0.1.3 (see attachment).

Rune,

While you are at it is there any way to integrate an option so that the
cursor data can be displayed in the appropriate graph display area similar
to the data that you see on the real VNA display. I you need to display all
of the data details you can of course use the display data button but of
course this greatly expands the display area requiring the vertical scroll
bars to be used.

Hi Rune,

Could I also add a request to be able to change the size of the markers on the graphs.

When larger line and plot sizes are used, it can become difficult to see the actual markers.

I park my taskbar on the left, because most screens these days have lots more pixels in width than in height, and I auto hide the taskbar. This is especially useful when running several fldigi apps (flmsg, etc.) and onscreen oscope.

The ability to resize to fit the display would be a great improvement. My laptop has a 17" display running at 1600x900 but still have the scroll bar for vertical position of the chart. It would be nice not to need to modify my screen settings.

Thank you for all the hard work you put into the software for the Nanno VNA.

Hi Wes,
can you send me a screenshot? There shouldn't be any problems fitting in
900 pixels vertical space, unless you're running a lot of markers, or quite
a large font...

Rune,

I attached a screen shot of the image you ask for. That is a full screen of a scan I saved. I noticed when I first loaded the file the image fit the screen perfectly but when I added Marker3 the image changed size to where you see it.

I fi I can supply any additional information will do my best to do so. This is running Win7 with the latest upgrades.
