FW: Nano VNA not starting

Hi,

I received my Nano VNA today.

The display turns on but there is no smith chart that comes up.

Only the start and stop frequency values are visible.

Please find the image below.

What can I do to make it work?

Have you tried to read the instructions?

I thought I did. But I'm clearly missing something.

Do I need to load a suitable firmware?
Unable to see from the user guide if that's what I'm supposed to do first.

I would try to loosen or remove the top cover. Sometimes the cover presses the screen at some point and this causes a malfunction.
Igor.

Removing the covers didn't help either.
I've also tried to disconnect/connect the battery again.
No luck there.

Can you connect the nanovna to the USB? Maybe start with the command clearconfig?
Or also force the DFU mode through the jumper of the "booto" and "vdd" pins to try to update the equipment's FW.

He probably needs to enable at least 1 marker to see anything useful.

I can reproduce what happens to you, if I leave the screen pressed when turning on the nanovna.

Hello! could you take a detailed photo of the PCB?

That screen looks very scuffed for a brand new device, are you sure there's not a screen protector on it?

In some rare cases not start or si5351 or AIC3204. In this case no sweep. You can touch screen, and see menu. But no trace on it.
If made off/on all startup normally.

If you already check touch issue and remove front panel not help, possible you have broken or si5351 or AIC3204
