Data Corrupt Error

Max Donoghue

Hi all,

I'm running version 1.0.39 on a Nanovna H model. When connected to the PC, Every time I run an SWR scan "Get Data" I get the following errors:

Corrupted data received [data 0]. Would you like to process it?
Corrupted data received [data 1]. Would you like to process it?
Corrupted data received [frequencies]. Would you like to process it?

I don't recall getting these errors before I upgraded the firmware. It only does it when connected to the PC.

Help? I just build a satellite antenna and would really like to get the gamma matches set!

What PC software are you using. Is it NanoVNA Sharp?

Are you using a NanoVNA-H (2.8") or NanoVNA-H4 (4"). If using a NanoVNA-H4 sweep points should be set to 101 for some PC programs.

I'd suggest reinstalling update to see if problem persists, Can't hurt one of em'.

Thank you, will try the suggestions. It is the H4.

Hi Max,
We already know that the base unit does not have a -H (2.8 "screen) but a 4" screen NanoVNA-H4 with firmware 1.0.39.
Now all you have to do is find out from the person asking the message what computer program you are using on which the problem occurs.
To us, this is still more unknown. If you can find out, you may be able to get more helpful answers.

The PC software is NanoVNASaver version 0.3.9

Then let's run to him again. See the latest version of NanoVNA-Saver 0.3.8. screenshot.
There is a program running on your computer that you think is displaying incorrect data.
There may be setup issues, but the program has not been identified so far.

Did you set the number of points to 101 under the sweep settings on the nanoVNA? Version 3.9 is known to have some bugs. Try 3.8

Hi Roger,

Setting the sweep points to 101 fixed the issue.

Thank you for all the tips!
