Just getting started here but this bit of frustration may be familiar to someone :-)

My >>guess<< (since you did not mention a device, firmware level, measurement being made)
is that the nanoVNA had no DEVICE calibration. Consequently, "impossible" values may be returned.
In other cases, corrupted USB data (e.g. bad cable or EMI) may be to blame.

Please try 0.3.6 - possible version error, although I couldn't start only 0.3.6 on a 32-bit system.
