BT connection doesn't work on NanoVNA-saver
I am trying to use nanovna-saver (release 0.3.8) connecting to my VNA through Bluetooth. My nanoVNA has been equipped with a HC05 BT module. Windows10 creates two COM ports once I add it to the list of Bluetooth devices. They are COM3 and COM4. Using Teraterm, connected to COM3, I am perfectly able to communicate with nanoVNA. If I run NanoVNA-App.exe, by OneOfEleven, I am able to use that GUI and interact with nanoVNA.
Why I cannot do the same with nanoVNA-saver? If I press the "Rescan" button that COM port is not found. If instead I use a wired USB connection, everything is ok. Best regards, Piero, I0KPT |
Unfortunatly even if I manually enter the com port, nanoVNA Saver 0.3.8 doesn't connect and issues this error:

Why version newer than 0.2.0 don't work on BT virtual COM? Regads Piero, I0KPT Il 22/12/2020 12:39, pgc1682@... ha scritto:
This problem exist long time. Try manually enter com port setting to nanovna saver. Rescan not work. Manually defined com port works with virtual com port. |
