Which firmware for AA contains the "Config" button

I just flashed the 800 mhz aa version to my NanoVNA. Works great, but no Config button. Is there a version out there that contains that in the Antenna Analyzer variant?

Have tried about 7 different firmwares now, checked Wiki, searched high and low. Surely there is a firmware for AA, two trace, with large fonts, and the Config menu which allows touch calibration.

hugen's official AA releases at all have a CONFIG menu. If you only want two traces then you will have to turn off the traces for CH1.

Greatly appreciate the help! That's close enough for me. Installed. I will shut down the two traces when I don't need them. Just happy to finally have a font I can read, and love being able to have some more settings to play with!

Can please somebody describe in simple English terms the differences between the standard firmware and the AA (Antenna Analyzer) firmware ?
What can be done with the AA version that cannot be done with the standard version ?

Thanks

Both versions can do everything - the ONLY difference is the font size and traces (bigger font size in mamory meant removing 2 traces)
Check the forum Wiki - all the info is there.

Alberto,
The firmware is the same except the -AA firmware has a larger font-size (about the same size as used on the 4" NanoVNA-H4), The primary drawback is that in order to achieve the larger font-size only 4 save locations is available instead of five.

Originally, to achieve the same thing and also allow a Chinese character set, only two traces could be displayed which were used on CH0 for s11 measurements. Thus the -AA or Antenna Analyzer label.

Larry,
That info needs to be updated. I am using the current -AA version and it has the larger font plus four traces. The only difference that I see between versions is the -AA version only has four save locations.

OK - that's Oristo's territory (and webpage)? ;-)

Does this apply only to Hugen firmwares?
At what version did it change from 2 trace to 4 save?

I just had a quick look at Hugen's repo:

NanoVNA-H version compiled on November 25, 2019
@hugen79 hugen79 released this on Nov 25, 2019 ¡¤ 6 commits to master since this release
1.The absolute value of the linear format is displayed;
2.Si5351 default 8mA output;
3.The AA version shows 4 traces. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<

So, there you have it.

At what version did it change from 2 trace to 4 save?
Looks like NanoVNA-H_20191125_AA was the first with 4 trace.

Hugen is the only firmware developer that has produced a -AA firmware. I never installed it before because of the trade-off in losing two traces for the larger font-size. I don't mind giving up a save location, so now I actually prefer the latest -AA large font version on my 2.8" NanoVNA-H. My only peeve is that the larger font sometimes obscures some screen elements.

I'm a happy camper. Got the Hugen firmware flashed, ordered a 100 count pack of diodes from Amazon via next day Prime delivery and as of last night, I soldered one of those bad boys on and I now have a working battery gauge. Great little device! I've got one of the 3D printed enclosures around mine as well.
