NanoVNA connection to iPad?


 

Is there anyway to connect the NanoVNA to an IPad ?

If Ipad supports USB-on-the-go, you may be able to connect it using USB.

If Ipad supports USB-on-the-go, you may be able to connect it using USB.
iOS supports OTG (using so-called camera adapter) for some device classes, but not serial.
My understanding is that iOS does support serial devices via BLE.


 

What app would Sam run on the iPad though?I can only think of a terminal to access the console commands.
Are there VNA iPad apps? (Haven't looked)

Yes, hardware support is prerequisite

Are there VNA iPad apps? (Haven't looked)
Sadly, iOS web browsers do not support webUSB apps,
and there are seemingly no free VNA apps,
and I find only one commercial (FieldFox) app


However, Python is supported on iOS, and scikit-rf apps exist..
