Doesn't work: Idea for a bracket for mounting N connectors

Well, I thought it was a good idea until I received the N to SMA adapters and discovered I couldn't get anything into the side openings to tighten the nut. :-(
See the photos.

So - I will be looking at extending HexandFlex's 3D printed housing to add a support section so the N to SMA adapters can be clamped in place after they are attached.
That will be a much better mechanical setup as it can be assembled and dismantled quickly should you only want to use the SMA connections.
I'm thinking additional drop-in strain reliefs can be printed to clamp any SMA cables attached when the other adapters are not used.

Comments?

Mount the N to SMA adapters on a flat strip of aluminum. Tighten the SMA nuts and then mount the strip to the nanoVNA with a couple of pieces of aluminum angle.

But solder the other side of the SMA PCB connectors before tightening ;-)

I'd like to note that I have used a torque wrench to tighten a bunch of SMA PCB connectors many times. But those were all soldered on both sides of the PCB, not just one.

Have Fun!
