I pre-ordered my Nano-VNA from
Is this a legit seller? If so does anyone have an idea on how long we will be waiting for the next batch of shipments?

Banggood, Gearbest, Tomtop and a few others are like Aliexpress and eBay (buy it now mode) - they are an umbrella of many vendors that take a % of sales. You shouldn't have a problem - I've bought through BG many times. Unfortunately though, sometimes it can take a couple of months of you chose free shipping. Other times, I've received my item in 2 weeks (China to Canada) with paid shipping. BG offers shipping insurance - buy it for a little extra and pay with PayPal so you have 2 avenues you can pursue if you need to claim a refund. BG has warehouses in China, Europe and the US.
I had originally ordered the Gecko white unit without a battery but I just ordered a black unit with battery and cables for $10 less on Aliexpress. Hopefully, it will take 3 weeks like the 1st one.
Cheers, Larry

Oh I use banggood all the time. I am more of "when is it coming" does anyone know. I ordered it on may 26th.... But its a waiting game i guess. Just being impatient :P Definitely need to get a batter for it thought.

I looked at?Aliexpress but saw no one offering a battery. All of the descriptions seemed to be actually the same. Since there seem to be variations among those offered, it is a great help to know which have the lasted updates, before buying.?I have a bunch of excellent 18 GHz SMA male 50 ohm terminations. Each has been tested on a network analyzer. The return loss at 900 MHz will be 40 dB or greater. I can offer a very reasonable price. k6yaz@... Stuart K6YAZLos Angeles, California USA

I just ordered from this Aliexpress vendor:: He had the cheapest black unit and the photos show batteries and cables & cal adapters. The down side is his ad says he ships in 7 days as he's waiting for stock. So, for now, I'm playing with my Gecko.

I got mine from lifangduo1006_0 <>. It was $75. After looking at ll the others for less, I guess I didn't get a bad deal. It has a battery is the white Gecko. I asked about any info, and they sent me something in Chinese I have to look at the FW, but I only have 2 traces and saw somewhere there is a load that supports 4 traces. I wish there were markers on the NanoVNASharp. Ver. 1.02 seems to work OK, but I have to pull the USB cable then turn it on then plug the USB back , and I can connect Frank

Thanks for the link Larry. I am going to order one. Not 100% convinced that the battery is included, but that isn't a big deal. I have several scalar network analyzers up to 26.5 GHz but no VNA. Would like to experiment with one without large cash outlay. Stuart K6YAZ

Hi Stuart, That unit comes with a battery, per the written description and you can just make out the battery looking at a side view of the unit. In any case, the black unit also has shields over the 3 mixers. As for price, AliExpress guarantees what you're buying or they refund.

I bought the NanoVNA from elecdesign2015 on ebay and got the item pretty quickly, including battery and cables and short/open/load tests for under $60. The battery was charged. I'm able to talk to the device using Larry Rothman's serial command guidelines. The unit comes with 900MHz firmware installed. So I'd recommend this vendor, at least for US purchasers. Again, it was only a single experience. But I was pleased enough that I'll purchase again just to have an experimental unit for flashing firmware and experimenting.
