Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
Why did you set it to 57600 Bd when you had to set it to 115200 in previous descriptions? When you set BT with the AT commands, it was still 115200 Bd. This allows BT to communicate at this speed.

Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
No, from console you can set ANY serial speed. Use usart_cfg command Example: 'usart_cfg 9600' Set NanoVNA usart speed to 9600, value stored in config, so if use CONFIG->SAVE on next load used 9600

Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
Yes, but you can't set the NanoVNA device to 9600, 19200 is the lowest baudrate there. !) I have deleted all COM ports in Window's device manager. 2) I had Windows search for a new Bluetooth device.

No problem - I tend to 'speed read' and miss stuff too ;-) There are two UI versions of the modified exe - one is normal size and one is about twice as large. I found the large UI one by accident when

Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
Forgot say, you can select any NanoVNA USART speed from console (connected to PC over USB): 'usart_cfg 9600' In all cases better use NanoVNA-App

I found different HC-05 use differenc BT chips I have 2, one can work only on 115200, second can up to 460800 (WiFi module can work up to 3M) NanoVNA can be used for configure connected HC-05 Need

Since I started this thread it is time to report my results: It works! The trick is that the HC-05 does not have a BT communication speed that is selectable in Dislords firmware and the speed has to

One problem I have noticed in configuring the HC-05 is that if you type in the AT command and any parameters too slow, it doesn't work sometimes. I now put the commands into a text editor and copy and

Maybe this will help: All HC BT modules require that you set their parameters via AT commands. You can find guides on how to do that online. Power the module and connect to it via a serial port. Set

Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
No - the HC05 uses 3 volt levels (LVTTL) on its IO pins. The voltage range definition of RS232 is +- 5v to +- 25 v. Nowadays, about all modules are LVTTL if not otherwise specified.
By Larry Rothman · #23420 ·
Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
Almost nothing uses RS-232 levels any more, all of these modules are TTL or 0-3.3V or (probably CMOS) inputs that take logic levels of some kind. 73, Willie N1JBJ

Re: Help with bluetooth HC-05 module #bluetooth
Is it that the hc5 needs rs232 level and the nanovna is TTL level you may need a level converter maxim 232, Dave 2E0DMB wrote:
