Group Co-ownership Change
All,
Please join us in welcoming Dave Eckhardt, W0LEV, to the role of co-owner of the nanovna-users group. Most of you have probably seen his posts to the group. He is well-versed in the use of VNAs and is very knowledgeable in the areas of electromagnetic fields, antennas, EM field measurements, just to name a few. One of the main reasons I got a demo board was to get some experience/practice working with the U.FL Connectors. My most recent radio has a lot of them and figured it's better to practice on something small and cheap.

Hello. I decided to put my NanoVNA in a safe place so I wouldn't scratch it or damage it. Now... ...I can't find it.
This may be a sign from the Supreme Diety that i should buy the "DeepVNA" 4.3 screen with the aluminum enclosure. Does anyone have recommendations as to the best store/place to buy one? I recall R&L are selling them, is that a reputable dealer? Thanks for all the leads in advance! == Rich WB2GXM |

The kit can be used to familiarize a new user with the shape of the VNA's responses to various types of circuit elements but is not too useful otherwise.
The IPEX connectors were designed for one-and-done use and will wear (or break) quickly with repeated mating/demating cycles. Getting the connectors unmated can also be tricky without the special little tool. Having used VNAs since the '80s, I wouldn't buy it myself but for a newcomer it may have some value as a learning tool. 73, Don N2VGU |

OMG not 0.0001db LOW !!! Who cares when the accuracy of most attenuators is 1%? (0.01db on a 10db attenuator)
